.save vs. splurge.

Surely what I'm about to suggest is blasphemy at its best in the world of fashion, but your wallet will love you...sooo...let's make the "fashionista's cringe a little, shall we?

Raise your hand if you have ever heard of the Equipment blouse?

cute, right?  They come in all different colors, prints, etc.  Great fit, super comfortable, only $208.

yes.  I said $208.  

your checkbook just said ouch.

I have an Equipment blouse and I love it, but seriously every time I wear it, I sort of get mad at myself for spending so much on it...in my defense, it was purchased after mucho pinots in my belly.  I could not be stopped.  Not only was it expensive, but lets go ahead and add the fact that it is a dirt magnet.  If you stand within a 5 mile radius of dirt, it gets a spot.  

I think the dirt and all local dry cleaners have some sort of business deal with each other.  I literally have it cleaned at least once a week.

anyways.

I love the blouse and want it in every color possible, but had to find a cheaper alternative.  Thank God for Victoria's Secret.

These are all super cute variations and they are all under $65 (on sale right now).

Probably all made in the same factory in China.  

sidenote.  it kills me when I spend a lot of money on apparel (i.e. my equipment blouse) only to look a the tag a see it was made in China or some random country like Sri Lanka.  I swear there is a blouse making factory in Asia somewhere that makes the same blouse for like 20 different companies that are all sold for different prices.

So there you go.  Go save yo self some $$$.
