.life lately.

So.

I am aware that I haven't posted in like 5 years, but that tends to happen when you have 3 children.  How some of you mommy-bloggers out there are able to post every single day blows my mind.  I am not the best at time management I guess?  I just don't have the time and I am not much for sitting on the computer while my babes are at home, which at least one of them is, until yesterday...

yes.  my precious gift of a girl started preschool.

for the first time in over 7 years of being a stay-at-home mom, I was alone.  Though, that didn't last long since King's decided she would rather cry than play and so I picked her up a little early.  Which is fine with me.

This is totally random, but here is the lunch I packed for her.  I was strangely proud of it.  I love the convenience of Lunchabales, but not all of the crap and processed food that's in them so I made my own.  Just bought some flavored water juice boxes, turkey and ham (sliced thick so I could cut up little chunks for her), string cheese (also cut up into chunks), crackers, fruit bars and grapes...all from Whole Foods and all organic.  She loved it!  She didn't quite make it to lunch time so after I picked her up, we say out by a fountain at church and she played in the water while eating every single bite.

Beck and Crew started school about 3 weeks ago and so far they are loving it!  (post about that, long over due).  They are also doing soccer and karate right now and as soon as soccer is over, they start music lessons.  They had a great summer swimming, golfing and playing tennis.  Cannot get over how precious they are!

here they are at they Junior Golf Awards banquet.  Cutest ever.

As for me, not much new other than I have been riding a lot more.  I started taking lessons twice a week with an awesome girl and I fall more and more in love with Mikey every day.  He is so patient with me.  I have never seen a horse be more affectionate and loving than him.  Sometimes he just walks up to me, puts his neck on my shoulder and stays there forever while I hug him.  I swear I love him more than most humans.

so.  I think that is it for now.  and now that all of my kids are in school, I will (hopefully) have more time to blog!

xoxoxo.  happy Wednesday!

Aw, poor Kingsley! Hopefully she gets adjusted sooner rather than later. But how adorable is she?! Love the little Toms. :) And making your own lunchable is a great idea! I'll have to remember that when we start having kids.

And your boys look like they could be twins with their glasses! Glad all is well!

Your babies are getting so big. I love Kingsley's outfit and especially those adorable Toms. All 3 of them are such cuties.

I manage to post but I sure can't manage to read & stay up to date with my friends. Just not enough hours in the day!

Don't feel bad....I hadn't blogged for months, trying to get back into it a bit. I need to post first day school pics too. Love to see a healthy lunch! My kids refuse to eat the school lunch which is just fine with me! I can totally understand loving your horse (or a pet) more than most humans.....this is true for me with our family pets.
